Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that if his statue looked anything like the first effort of Cristiano Ronaldo’s then he would have fired the artist.
Appearing on the Late, Late Show With James Corden, the LA Galaxy striker was shown a picture of his sculpture (being worked on currently) compared to that of Ronaldo’s which went viral last year… and the Swede confirmed he would not have been happy if his had turned out the same.
Not content with being the greatest footballer in the world (his words), Ibrahimovic also took on the mantle of being the greatest fortune teller in the world as well (again, his words) when he took part in a skit inspired by Tom Hanks’ classic 1988 comedy “Big”.
In short, Corden stumbles upon an old fortune-telling machine at the fairground. In go the dollar bills and, after a false start or two, out pour the pearls of wisdom from Zoltar/Zlatan.
“Too easy, Zlatan wins always,” the Swede quips at the very end, which is true — unless of course he happens to be talking about Galaxy’s last three games.
