PSG defender Alves has home robbed during match – report

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi says the club’s new shirt deal adds to their financial resolve, and that he’s ‘not worried’ about Financial Fair Play.

Thieves broke into the home of Paris Saint-Germain’s Dani Alves and stole luxury watches while the defender played in a match earlier this week, L’Equipe reported on Saturday.

Burglars entered Alves’ house in Neuilly-sur-Seine, just outside Paris, while he played in a Ligue 1 match against Montpellier on Wednesday.

The report said they broke in through a first-floor window that had been left open, with a number of watches taken.

Alves is the third PSG player to be targeted by thieves in recent months, L’Equipe said, with the homes of teammates Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thiago Silva broken into during matches in November and December.
